It is our free interpretation of Spain's natural spaces, taken as geological, landscape, or climate-related units, or directly from the shared imaginary of the common Spaniard who decides to travel to a certain part of the country to enjoy their free time, refusing any other interpretation that isn’t linked to that desire.

Personalised Treatment
We're old school mountaineers who see the mountain as a way of life, which is why we think it’s unthinkable to offer a natural spectacle without making the personal treatment friendly and respectful. We want to give each traveller what they need on each occasion. At our office we offer a detailed service, a thoughtful operational setup and the best advice.
We love what we do
Yes, without a doubt. You don't become a mountain guide for groups without being passionate about your profession, without wanting to take people to a place that has touched your heart. Without the enjoyment of seeing their satisfaction at achieving a goal. Without finding them excited about an eagle flying above the summits.
We know the terrain
Since childhood we have travelled Spain's geography, hiking up and down mountains, over snowy terrain, under intense storms or walking through the spectacular spring season of each area. Once trained as guides, our level of technical expertise has allowed us to attain a deep knowledge of the country's mountains and ecosystems.

We want to go beyond the well-trodden and known routes to show you different, unique paths invented by and for mountaineers, also for those who want a bit more.
Authenticity
We cannot conceive mountaineering activities without them being experienced by our mutual customers in their own way. We provide the experience, resources, technique, education, good atmosphere, surprising routes… but we leave space for them to build their own adventure.

Zero pollution
Aware of the impact that tourism activities have on the natural environment and of the fragility of the mountains, The Mighty South wants our trips to cause the least damage possible from an environmental point of view. We limit concepts such as the carbon footprint or noise pollution.
Respect
We do not leave waste in the field, we do not wash ourselves with soap in the rivers, we do not change the environment with stones or sticks, we do not cause erosion outside the path, we respect the fauna, we respect the vegetation, matters of common sense for any lover of Nature anywhere in the world.
Sustainability
We think that our small groups, 8-12 people, are adequate to maintain that balance between impact and commercial activity. Whenever we can, we interact with local resources (rural hotels, guides, drivers, ethnographic visits, stockbreeders, farmers, shepherds, etc.) and all those who, with their effort, keep alive a way of living that is under threat.
